I developed Enala Creative when I decided I wanted to become a better writer. I have been writing in private for years and rarely allowed others to see my efforts. While that is a safe way to keep this part of me from criticism, it isn't a way to get better at writing. I think I'm ready now to hear feedback and listen to suggestions. I have a good sense of what I want vs. what others want for me so I believe I can take in remarks from others while maintaining my identity. For now, Enala is my way of opening up to be part of the bigger literary world.
I have chosen to share short stories, poetry, thoughts I have about projects, writing prompts, observations, and maybe some journal entries on the blog area of enalacreative.com. My intention is to keep the material current and not too repetitive. It's my hope that, by exploring my website, visitors will be able to glimpse a little of themselves in my work and it will resonate in an unexpected way.

So, who am I? That is a very big question. Here goes…
Demographically, I am female, married, a mother, a pet owner, property
owner, and tax payer. Also, I’m a terrific person with plenty of
opinions and thoughts that I greatly enjoy keeping to myself with the
exception of little glimpses to my thinking as evidenced in my writing.
So, that’s me. Sort of.
